How to Use

Kana ASCII Art

Type the letter you want to draw into the text field, and the single letter you want to build it from into the unit field. You can line up as many letters as you like, and only the first character of the unit is used.

Raising the stroke weight fattens the glyph so that thin strokes survive. The size is the number of rows, and a larger value keeps more of the shape. The cell size only changes how large the art is drawn on screen, so the text you copy stays the same.

Press copy to put the art on the clipboard as plain text. The screen is a canvas, but what gets copied is the characters themselves.

Double-click a panel title to switch how the panels are laid out. In the movable layout you drag panels wherever you like and keep several open at once; in the fixed layout a single panel sits in the top right.
