Per inhabitant is the disposable income of a state divided by its number of inhabitants, in euros.

Disposable income of private households from the regional accounts of the German states, calculated by the working group of the statistical offices (Arbeitskreis „Volkswirtschaftliche Gesamtrechnungen der Länder“) and published by the Federal Statistical Office of Germany (Destatis). The values are nominal: they are adjusted neither for price changes from year to year nor for price differences between states.

Disposable income is the amount that private households have available for consumption and saving. It consists mainly of compensation of employees, income from self-employment and property, and social benefits received such as pensions, after deducting taxes on income and wealth and social contributions. Private households include non-profit institutions serving households.

Values from 2022 to 2024 are preliminary.
