# font

Put the fonts used for typesetting here. The font files themselves are not part of this package.

## Math typeface

`latinmodern-math.otf` is required. It is GUST's Latin Modern Math, the same file as in suki's `font/`.
Nothing can be set without it.

## Japanese typeface

To set Japanese, put a Mincho typeface here.
Any file name works; the first file that is not the math typeface is used.

IPAex Mincho (IPA Font License) and Noto Serif JP (SIL Open Font License) both allow embedding in PDF.

Hiragino and Arial Unicode, which come with macOS, differ by typeface in whether they may be embedded in
a PDF you distribute. To check on your own machine, pass one with `--font-japanese`.

## Latin text typefaces

With the Latin Modern text faces (`lmroman10-regular.otf`, `lmroman10-italic.otf`, `lmroman10-bold.otf`,
`lmmono10-regular.otf`) here, you can use them by passing `--font-roman` and the like.
Otherwise the Latin glyphs of the math typeface are used.
