The Pink Granite Coast is a stretch of shoreline on the English Channel in Côtes-d’Armor, in northern Brittany. Lying in the Trégor area near Lannion, it runs for more than 30 km from Plestin-les-Grèves to Louannec and takes in Trégastel.
The granite that crops out along this coast has a brownish-pink tint, which gave the area its name; in Breton it is called the “coast of red stones”. Its pink sands and unusual rock formations, shaped by wind and waves, have made it a popular destination.
