「the 比較級, the 比較級」は「〜すればするほど、ますます…」という意味を表す構文です。2つのことが連動して変化する関係を表します。
基本の形
The + 比較級 + 主語 + 動詞, the + 比較級 + 主語 + 動詞.前半が「条件」、後半が「結果」を表します。
The more you study, the smarter you become.
勉強すればするほど、賢くなる。
The older I get, the more I forget.
年を取れば取るほど、忘れっぽくなる。

早ければ早いほど良い。
