There will be（未来形）｜中学英語

「〜があるでしょう」「〜がいるでしょう」と未来のことを言うときは There will be を使います。will の後は動詞の原形なので、is でも are でもなく be になるのがポイントです。

基本の形

There will be + 名詞で「〜があるでしょう」という未来の文が作れます。

There will be a meeting tomorrow.

明日会議があるでしょう。

There will be many people at the concert.

コンサートにはたくさんの人がいるでしょう。

単数でも複数でも will be の形は変わりません。これが is / are を使い分ける現在形・過去形との違いです。

否定文の作り方

will の後に not をつけます。短縮形は won’t です。

There won't be any problem.

何も問題はないでしょう。

There will not be enough seats.

十分な席はないでしょう。

won’t は会話でよく使われる短縮形です。

Will を文頭に出します。

There is going to be

be going to を使って未来を表すこともできます。

There is going to be a storm tonight.

今夜は嵐になりそうです。

There are going to be some changes.

いくつか変更があるでしょう。

be going to を使う場合は、後ろの名詞に合わせて is / are を使い分けます。will be の方がシンプルで使いやすいかもしれません。
